The State University of Papua's Pathways program has:

  • Improved the curriculum and instruction to enhance the learning process and success of Pathways students. This new style has resulted in a greater motivation and participation level among the students.

Based on a student needs analysis conducted by different departments, the program has developed a textbook better suited for students' educational needs. The program continues to revise the textbook based on feedback received from faculty using the book.
  • Developed remedial or supplemental courses for Pathways students, resulting in a greater motivation level among the students.
  • Trained graduating, low-income students in Academic Writing and hired them as young lecturers in the department.
